Waist-Trimming Exercises

An excellent "waist trimmer", is to sit on a chair, with a broomhandle or vacuum bar handle (just the tube part), and rotate from side to side. Hold the bar behind your neck, just above your shoulders. You twist from left to right as far as you can go. Start with about 10X to each side (alternating each time), and then the next month go to 15X, then 20 X, 25X and then maintenance at about 30X to each side. This exercise is a great one to firm up the muscles around the waist!!! I found this one on the "Shape-Ups" exercise chart, that my chiropractor gave me.
